Used headphones and earbuds: sound, microphone and charging
Check both audio channels, calling functions and the full charging package, while following the model’s cleaning guidance.
Confirm model and complete accessories
Ask for the exact headphone model and, for wireless earbuds, the charging-case model as well. Check that both earbuds are present and pair as intended. List cable, case, ear tips and any adapter separately. Appearance alone does not establish authenticity; ask for available purchase information without publishing personal receipt details.
Separate listening from calling tests
At a comfortable volume, try a familiar audio sample and check left and right channels. Make a permitted microphone recording or call; music playback alone does not test the microphone. Try the advertised controls and supported modes without changing the owner’s account settings. Note crackle, dropouts or functions you could not verify.
Inspect charging and contact surfaces
Try the supplied charging equipment and ask how the batteries behave in normal use. A few minutes cannot prove full running time. Inspect pads and removable tips, and plan replacement where appropriate. Follow the manufacturer’s cleaning instructions instead of assuming that a used item is sanitised or immersing components that may be damaged.
